Until 2008, the Chäserstatt–Erner Galen area was served by a small ski resort. A chairlift ran from Mühlebach to the hamlet of Chäserstatt. Erner Galen was characterised by beautiful, undulating slopes that wound gently down the mountain. T-bar lifts provided access from two directions. A self-service restaurant and a snow bar catered for visitors’ needs in this family-friendly ski resort.

In the winter of 2008, the ski resort came to a sad end and operations, which had been running at a loss for years, were discontinued. The mountain station and the former restaurant were renovated and converted by its new owner. After various changes of tenant, we took over the management in the summer of 2018 and have since been delighted to welcome many guests to our establishment.
