Bear in mind that this is a narrow mountain road.
The approach by private car is via an adventurous mountain road. But don't worry, the road is always kept in perfect condition.

Taxi in summer
Alternatively, we will be happy to collect you from Mühlebach with our chargeable taxi service and take you back there. You can park your car free of charge in the large Mühlebach-Ernergalen car park.
Car park Mühlebach-Ernergalen
If you prefer to come to us on foot, you can easily park your car in the large Mühlebach-Ernergalen car park (opposite the bus stop). From there, a beautiful hiking trail leads directly up to the hotel in about 1.5 hours with a 500 metre ascent - ideal for enjoying the tranquillity of nature on the way.
Alternatively, we offer a taxi service for a fee - please book in advance!
Obligation to pay forest road charges
NEW 2025: Please note that from now on the use of the forest road is subject to a fee.
Please pay this fee of CHF 5/day before using the road. This also serves as a parking fee.
Payment is possible with a smartphone via various digital payment providers (TWINT, credit cards, ParkingPay, etc.).
All information can be found on the sign at the start of the forest road.
Your way to us by public transport
You have exactly two ways to reach us:
1st possibility:
You can take the train from Brig to Lax or Fiesch. Then take the Postbus to the bus stop Mühlebach (Goms), Ernergalen
2st possibility:
Or you can take the train to Fürgangen, cross the "Goms Bridge" suspension bridge to the Mühlebach-Ernergalen car park
From Mühlebach you can either walk or take a taxi to Chäserstatt.
