Until the year 2008, the Chäserstatt-Erner Galen area was home to a small ski resort. A chairlift led from Mühlebach to the hamlet of Chäserstatt. The Erner Galen was characterised by beautiful, contoured slopes that gently meandered down the mountain.

The slopes had two ski lifts in different directions. A self-service restaurant and a snow bar provided food and drink for the family-friendly ski area.

In the winter of 2008, the ski resort came to its sad end and after years of loss-making, the business folded. The mountain station and the former restaurant were renovated and rebuilt by its new owner. After changing tenants many times, we were able to take it over in the summer of 2018 and have welcomed many guests since then.
